Expanding on its strategic partnership, Etihad Airways has leased a Boeing 777-300ER from Virgin Australia for flights between Abu Dhabi and Kuala Lumpur.
Announced late last week, the aircraft will be utilised on the one time weekly service and according to the Etihad also emphasises the importance of their relationship.
"This new agreement expands our successful partnership with Virgin Australia which already provides our guests access to Australia and elsewhere on our combined network of more than 150 destinations,” Etihad chief strategy and planning officer Kevin Knight said.
"Working together with our partner Virgin Australia we continue to find new ways to serve our guests and create value for each of our airlines."
