THAI recruits new flight attendants
Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) announced that flight attendants of Thai nationality will be recruited to provide service on THAI flights and accommodate forthcoming route expansion.
Flight Lieutenant Kanok Thongpurk, THAI Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Compliance, said that THAI is currently in the second phase of its Transformation Plan and is expanding to build strength in order to continue to grow as a leading airline with competitive strength. As THAI is expanding its route network, the Company is recruiting new flight attendants to provide service on THAI flights. The application and recruitment process begins now until 26 May 2017 on THAI’s website www.thaiairways.com.
The new flight attendants will be hired on a three-year contract, which may be renewed one time, whereby the renewed contract will be valid until 30 September 2023. Applicants must meet a number of qualifications.
In addition, THAI flight attendants who are recruited in this group will perform duties for a specific period of time that will terminate at the end of the contract period. This form of contractual employment is a flight attendant recruitment policy that is used by other leading air carriers worldwide.
