Etihad Cargo, the freight division of Etihad Airways, continues to receive accolades, this time receiving recognition as the Best Cargo Airline – Middle East by Air Cargo News publication.
The award was presented to Etihad Cargo vice president David Kerr at the publication’s annual awards ceremony in London this month.
Etihad Airways chief strategy and planning officer Kevin Knight said the airline is thrilled to receive the award as it reflects the company’s commitment to putting customers first.
“This award is based on votes received from across the global cargo industry, and to win this against some tough, long-established competition in the region is especially pleasing,” Mr Knight said.
“As a global cargo operator, we look forward to working ever closer with our customers in the years ahead and always being on hand as a trusted partner to drive value for their businesses.”
This acknowledgement follows multiple recent award wins for the airline including Cargo Operator of the Year at ITP Publishing Group’s annual Supply Chain and Transport Awards and Cargo Airline of the Year presented at the annual Air Transport News awards.
Etihad Cargo’s fleet consists of ten freighter aircraft which operate from its hub in Abu Dhabi.
The airline services 38 destinations on its passenger network and 14 freight-only services to key destinations across the globe.
