helloworld agents are to benefit from the leading travel agency group’s focus on excellence and expertise with a number of key initiatives launched at the 2014 Owner Managers Conference (OMC) held this weekend in LA.
CEO Elizabeth Gaines outlined her strategy for helloworld’ssuccess, driven by an agent-centric approach.
“From the very beginning of helloworld, we were determined to create a value proposition that delivers real benefit to our agents and to our agents’ customers now and in the future. No other travel company in Australia offers helloworld’s extensive value proposition, service, support and flexibility. That’s why I’m comfortable in declaring that helloworld will become Australia’s leading travel organisation. We will do this through remaining focused on the needs of our agents and through providing our agents with the tools, support, product and market advantage to shine.”
helloworld‘s commitment to delivering the best possible end-to-end consumer experience saw a number of workshops focus on excellence in customer service and the importance of customer advocacy in growing business.
Ms Gaines used OMC to officially launch helloworld’s “Experts in Everywhere” profiling.
“We think it’s important to showcase the expertise and professionalism of our agents and we want helloworld to stand for expertise and reliability. Effective today, the use of the tagline “Experts in Everywhere” will be incorporated into everything we do. This is a powerful platform to help our agents shine. It’s easily understood, it highlights our agents’ expertise and the research shows that it strikes the right chord with consumers.”
Over the two day OMC, helloworld agents, key speakers, suppliers and sponsors shared insights, ideas and vision and harnessed roadmaps to identify and convert opportunities for maximum impact.
Attendees of the Owner and Managers conference were inspired by expert speakers including leading Motivator Dr John Izzo, Entrepreneurial chef Neil Perry and bestselling author Debbie Mayo-Smith. They benefitted from the knowledge of retail specialists, and gained insight into how one of Australia’s biggest brands is balancing transformation in action from Woolworths’ Julie Coates. One of the world’s top 60 motivational speakers, Terry Hawkins led a powerhouse session on creating consumer champions and transformational service culture – ahead of a major training initiative to be rolled out across helloworld.
The sessions armed attendees with new knowledge and skills to amplify their brand, retail, motivational and technological advantage in the industry as Experts in Everywhere.
“We are so pleased with the success of helloworld’s Owner Managers Conference for 2014. Over two days the knowledge and expertise at the conference was accentuated and amplified for us collectively, as well as at an individual level. Our members have been provided valuable knowledge and experience to help take full advantage of their potential. We thank everyone for attending and hope to see you all in Wellington next year,” Ms Gaines said.
The 2015 OMC will be held in Wellington, New Zealand from 26-29 November.
The major Conference sponsors were Qantas, Qantas Holidays, P&O Cruises, & LA Tourism & Convention Board
