Jumping on the space fad, the Middle East has unveiled new plans to take travellers out into space without leaving the planet in a new concept hotel – the ‘Space Hotel’.
Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha are pegged to be the first cities in the region to home the Mobilona Space Hotel, and an official announcement is expected to be made once the group commences construction of the first out-of-this-world property on an island off the coast of Barcelona, Emirates 24|7 reported.
Construction group, Mobilona Global claims the new concept will perfectly blend design and technology to give travellers the option to visit any place on earth, and even in the universe.
According to the company, the windows of the hotel will be made of transparent glass displays that give the effect of being on a space flight, the hotel’s suites will also be equipped with surface displays that provide guests with the best views from any location or angle.
The property group is expected to commence construction of the first Space Hotel on an artificial island off the coast of Barcelona.
In addition to the UAE cities, Los Angeles and Hong Kong are also pegged to home the space-like hotel.
The going price for a night at the Space Hotel will start from €300 to over €1,500.
