Customer demand has prompted Bench International to introduce new destinations, extended stays in Luxor and more options in Oman in the Egypt and Middle East brochure it has just released for 2011.
Product director Fiona Orton said that repeat visitors were asking for more time to explore the many great sites in the Luxor and Valley of the Kings region in central Egypt.
She added, “It appears that our existing itineraries are giving visitors a fascinating introduction to the mysteries of Egypt, but many are now looking for more in-depth explorations of the country.
“This has also led us to a new “Highlights of Egypt” itinerary which combines Cairo and Alexandria with traditional Nile cruises, plus a visit to Siwa Oasis”, she said.
The new brochure also offers free upgrades to suite accommodation on Amarco II Nile cruises for selected voyages and a new combination of the best of Egypt and the wildlife of Kenya.
Ms Orton also said that the expansion of product offerings in Oman included visits to local communities, which benefit from the tourism industry, as well as a brand new 10-day package “Explore Oman – Naturally” which goes off the beaten track and includes a visit to Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve, walking in the mountains and visiting traditional bee-keepers.
